Kindling - our story

At Kindling, we're all about serving great-value, high-quality steaks expertly cooked by our Head Chef, Ewan Cullen, and his talented team over a charcoal grill. 

Rekindled after a short break in 2024, we're back with a new concept of Simply Steak and under new management by seasoned Brighton restaurant operators Ramin and Jane Mostowfi.

Our food

At Kindling, our charcoal grill is the star. We use natural, additive-free charcoal to bring out the best in our top-quality meat and give it that perfect, smoky flavour.

Our menu is short and to the point, featuring top-quality ingredients cooked over an open fire in the heart of the restaurant. 

You can choose from great-value steaks, burgers, and beef sandwiches. Expect high-quality British beef, pitch-perfect preparation, friendly staff, and fantastic service.
