Kindling serves great steaks for all, cooked simply by head chef Ewan Cullen and his team, over charcoal. Rekindled after a short closure and a new management team led by Ramin Mostowfi and Minky Lee, both seasoned Brighton restaurant operators, Kindling has a short and sweet menu of high-quality ingredients, cooked over fire from an open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. Supreme quality beef, flawless preparation, knowledgeable staff, and impeccable service that’s affordable and delicious for all.

Our beef is sourced as ethically and locally as possible. At the heart of Kindling is the charcoal grill, on which we use natural charcoal with no additives to flavour, season and to simply bring out the best in top-quality meat.
